I sit here today and am trying to recover from a night out at Minute Maid Park. We went to the game with the Phillies last night by buying some of the "trade" tickets and we really got our money's worth with the game. Totally exciting, tied in the 9th at 4-4 and the winning run getting hit by the rookie Hunter Pence who also made three fantastic catches to get the Astros out of innings.
Pence is a great addition to the team and someone who the Astros need to hang onto. He made the game exciting to the end.
We haven't gone to many games since they moved from the dome but after this game, we're planning on another game soon. The Astros ticket exchange works well to get decent seat when the season ticket holders release their seats when they aren't going to be there. Ours were on the 300 level on the first base line. If you're not a season ticket holder, try going through the astros.com site and look at the seats available.
If you missed the game, you missed a darned good show. And the added treat of getting to watch the roof be moved above us for the fantastic fireworks show just added to the great time we had.
