Wow....My daughter was plucking my eye brows and I was holding my hair back.  All the sudden, I could feel
my brain's heartbeat....ha    Is this crazy or what?

it's called a pulse.

The pulse is measured at the:

Back of the knees
Groin
Neck
Temple
Top or inner side of the foot
Wrist

In these areas, an artery passes close to the skin.
