Sean Penn was spotted downtown today and possibly Brad Pitt.  Have any of you guys ever met a celebrity in person?

Yes. Lanny Griffith and Doug (MyTechGuy) and Greg Groogan, all of Fox 26.

Actually Bessie, I got to shake his hand today. The crew were filming inside our building - Pennzoil and as we walked by from lunch, he shook my hand. I understand they are filming for a move called "The Tree of Life". I understood that Brad Pitt is with Angelina at this time and was unable to be there! Darn!

Rather exciting to see film directors taking advantage of our wonderful city for film production! Welcome to Houston!

I have met Steve Burns of "Blue's Clues.
I have given Keanu Reeves a shoulder rub while he was waiting on his tour bus to be unlocked.
I hung out with Doug (mytechguy) at Kemah.
I shook Weird Al's hand at a fundraiser.

Brad Pitt? Bleh..whiny pretty boy actor (in every role he plays he friggin WHINES) who fell for the Hollywood mattress back and is now HER whiny pretty boy puppet actor baby daddy. Wouldn't spit on him if he was on fire.
(Shiloh is a cutie, though.)

Sean Penn? Pretty interesting guy, wouldn't mind talking to him.

I met Dusty Hill and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top a few times in the 80s. Ran into them in different bars (tee hee) back then. Really nice guys.

Now, if Bruce Willis and/or Prince was in town? Alert the police...stalker in town!!

When I was in the military I met countless celebs, and frankly, I was underwhelmed. The military had me teach them things like marching, using weapons, and speaking (the military way).

The only time I was star struck was when I met a porn star, but this is a family board so I'll leave out the details.

I visited with Ralph Nader for a while at a private party. I met Tom Laughlin (Billy Jack) several times in the 80s. He's actually a pretty short guy. I visited with Melinda Ballard (Ballard v. Farmers, the mother of all Texas mold cases) numerous times. Three films were shot at my prior office; one for UofH film school and another was one, I believe called Running Man. Our receptionist had a small part in that one. Keaunu Reeves was in one of the movies but I don't recall the name of it.

It seems like there was one more celeb that I've met, but I just can't remember. Apparently I wasn't very impressed! LOL
