OMG....The weight is starting to fall off. I've been in the Summer Meltodown contest now for 8 days now and I've allready lost 5 pounds. Radio station, 94.5 the buzz and Ballys total fitness, working together to help 8 contenders change their lifestyle. Working with a trainer made all the difference for me. If you cant afford them, watch them work with others. Now, I know what those big rubber balls are for. (Not for playing)...lol Check it out....you can get in on a 30 day pass....freeeeeeeeeeeee.

UPDATE...07/17/2008....OMG....I lost 8.6 pounds.  It's been 10 days.

All across the USA...their is a weight loss contest going on. 

The Summer meltdown contest.  Thousands applied thru 94.5 The Buzz and 8 got in.  I'm one of them and I"m so hyped.  It started 3 days ago and I've allready lost 3 pounds. 

I met Hall of famer and Mr Olympia, Lee Lombrada.  He's awesome.  He's trained many stars, like my athletic idol, Madonna.  I wanna look like her. lol..... 

I'm working out with new friends and being trained by Ballys finest trainers, like Randy at the Memorial City location. 

It's happening at Ballys total fitness and you can get a 30 day membership free.  I was a little intimidated when I first went in.  So big, so many people....I fit right in.

I cant help but cry when hearing about the kids still missing.  Last night I dreamed that my own were missing and I desperately tried all night to find them.   I woke up choking and crying. 

I wish I could help.

Guys, I was bitten yesterday by a spider.  I didnt see it, thought it was a skeeter bite but, this morning, you can see the fang marks.  Without going to a doctor, any suggestions?

I'ts starting to burn a little, rash getting little bigger.  I applied neosporin and cold compress.

I have a pack of steroid pills...what do you think?

Hurricane season is upon us and most stations are talking about hurricanes from the past.   They forget to mention Alilcia.  Alicia was the third depression, first storm, and the only major hurricane of the 1983 hurricane season.  It struck Houston and Galveston.  It caused over two billion dollars in damages and killed 21 people.  I remember that day so vividly.  I lived in an apartment off the katy freeway, right over buffalo bayou.  We had a tree fall on our stairwell that blocked our exit.  The bayou was filled to the rim and boy was it scary. 

Does anyone else remember that day?

I'm sure you have all heard of the increase on groceries at our local supermarkets.  I went to Kroger yesterday to buy a few things we needed and could'nt believe it.  The prices are higher than ever.   Four tomatoes were $6.00.  A loaf of Mrs. Bairds bread was nearly $3.00.  I'm guessing it's time to start planting our own veggies or get a second job.
