Thoughts of HoMan

Apparently the Obamas of Kenya have been reading those scurrilous emails to which Barack likes to refer, because they have no doubt -- contrary to the claims of the Obama campaign, that the presidential candidate was raised a Moslem. They take that as a given.

As the Jerusalem Post reports, "Barack Obama's half brother Malik said Thursday that if elected his brother will be a good president for the Jewish people, despite his Muslim background. In an interview with Army Radio he expressed a special salutation from the Obamas of Kenya."

The Obama brothers' father, a senior economist for the Kenyan government who studied at Harvard University, died in car crash in 1982. He left six sons and a daughter. All of his children - except Malik -- live in Britain or the United States. Malik and Barack met in 1985 in the US.

"He was best man at my wedding and I was best man at his," said Malik in a 2004 interview with an AP reporter. Their paternal grandfather, Onyango Hussein Obama, was one of the first Muslim converts in Nyangoma-Kogelo, Malik said."

In a remarkable denial issued last November that still stands on the official campaign website, Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs issued a statement explaining that "Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised as a Muslim, and is a committed Christian."

Apparently Malik Obama, himself a Muslim, had not read the press release.

Melanie Phillips is the most recent commentator to draw attention to the massive body of evidence that leaves no doubt that Barak Hussein Obama was born a Muslim (Islam is patrilineal) and raised a Muslim (so registered in school, acknowledging attending Islamic classes, reported accompanying his step-father to the mosque, and able to recite the Koran in the original Arabic).

Reuven Koret, Aaron Klein and Daniel Pipes have previously pointed to the attempts by Obama and his campaign to conceal the candidate's Muslim background. The well documented evidence draws upon the on-the-ground interviews by researchers in Indonesia and Kenya, published quotations of Obama's childhood friends and his school records, as well as the candidate's own autobiography.

It is not clear whether Barack Obama will now disown his half-brother Malik for acknowledging that shared family background. In any case, some one should notify "Fight the Smear" tout de suite. Perhaps they can get him with the program.

SO YOUR POINT IS : A MUSLIM OR ANYONE WHO YOU THINK IS MUSLIM IS UNQUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT OF THE U.S. ? JUST COME OUT AND SAY YOU DON'T WANT A BLACK MAN TO BE THE PRESIDENT AND I'LL HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR YOU !

Apollonian, can you delete this guy? He calls you a racist and he is the biggest racist on the blog site! He has no respect for others opinions because they aren't in agreement with his own.

If noone else will say it I will! The Muslim running for president is not qualified to lead a camel in the desert! He is not a black man since he is only 6.5% black. The rest is of his 1/2 is Arabic/Muslim and the other 50% is white. If there were a qualified black man running for president I would vote for him but that is not the case.

I really don't think IMO that Apollonian cares if you respect him or not and I damn sure don't care if you respect me. You can get the he(( out of America and go to Iran and see how well you make a living. On every blog you are shouting and that turns people off. People listen better when you speak and not shout. That is if you can understand what I'm saying. Also did you read the part of you "Qur'an" that shows where your precious Allah wants others to commit Jih'ad so they can live with virgin women and young boys? Now what will they do with young boys? Humm!!! " WHAT KIND OF GOD WOULD HAVE PEOPLE COMMIT SUICIDE"? Not a God but a Lucifer! Do you know who he was? I'll tell you, he was the angel God threw out of Heaven for commiting sins and condemmed to live in he(( for eternity! Your Muslim friends commiting jih'ad are with him as we blog.

"Apollonian, can you delete this guy?"

No, no! Don't delete him! I like the little headchopper even though he or Rev. T got me a 36 hr time out from blogging this week. I just wish the moderators would drop me a line explaining why they do it. That's twice now they made me sit out for a few days. Sheesh!

Why should we even consider having a Muslim as a president to start with.???
Would Muslim known countries tolerate having a Christian president ? Hell would freeze over first.
America is a Christian founded Nation with laws that allow freedom of worship.
Unlike Muslim law which state you will follow our faith or die.
People like yahyamoro and Obama would turn this Nation into another 'Mugabe economic disaster' dividing up the wealth as reparation and forcing whites and others out.
The more I hear, the more I now believe in "The Bell Curve" as a fact not racially motivated.
Sorry, we can't offer you 72 virgins nor young boys in the afterlife.
Again, those who take advantage of the freedom we offer should abide or go back and be among your own happy squalor.

We have been a nation for many years, & so has Iran/Iraq & Mexico.
As long as we all lived withing our space with our own culture, we all got along.
Now, with us meddling in foriegn affairs we have problems.
Mexicans/foriegners come over here & we have problems.
Water & oil don't mix!
Our administration wants to make us ALL "just one happy family with NAFTA"??

Somehow it seems that all this mixing up religions, cultures, & philosophies is not a good idea!
While we allow people to come here & be a citizen, I thought they agreed to our laws on a CHRISTIAN society, maybe?

I always liked the idea "If you try something new & it causes problems, you could just back up to where you were, & the problems go away"?

MUGABE ? DON'T EVER SAY I SUPPORT A CRACK POT LIKE THAT FREAK ! HE HAS DESTROYED ZIMBABWE EXPELLING THE WHITES WHO WERE BORN THERE , IT WAS THEIR COUNTRY TOO . FYI , LEBANON HAD CHRISTIAN PRESIDENTS ( EVEN THOUGH IT HAS A MUSLIM MAJORITY ) . I THOUGHT THERE WAS FREEDOM OF RELIGION HERE IN THE U.S. ? WHAT IF OBAMA WAS A BUDDHIST , OR JEWISH , WHO SHOULD GIVE A CARE ? AS LONG AS THE MAN UPHOLDS HIS OFFICE AND THE LAW ... PEOPLE HERE ARE STILL PREDJUDICE ...

You overlook the REAL reasons people detest your Islamic faith and there is no reason a Muslim cannot be a president but for the following evil doctrine as prescribed in the Koran.

NO other faith has a book of rules worded as the Koran, instructing their followers to take up the sword, declare a holy war and kill by chopping off the heads of those who refuse to follow the dream of some self made Prophet.

Those who martyr themselves will be blessed with 72 virgins and young boys.

Yes, this Christian Nation allows freedom of religion and that's more than your faith does.

You and your types are the prejudice ones.

Okay...thought I would chime in here.

Regardless of what church or school Obama may have attended when he was too young to make these decisions on his own...what he claims to be...what he is, is Christian. I'll explain what I mean by that with an example: I was brought up in a Baptist church...baptized in the same faith and my parents are still of the Baptist faith. I, however, am not a Baptist. As a child I attend whatever church my parents attended because I had no choice. Obama is no different in that respect. So it isn't a matter of having a Muslim president. Because he isn't a Muslim.

As for the comments made by his brother...I will give another example based on the previous one: My parents and siblings might say that I am a product of my baptist upbringing. Some of the decisions I have made in life and the way I conduct myself now would be, in their opinion, based on my baptist upbringing. They would be wrong. They are entitled to their opinion but it is only that. Obama's brother may make statements based on what he may think of his brother and according to some things they may have experienced early in life. But any one of us who have been or are married know that we never truely KNOW anyone. That is why we have so many divorces these days. (a blog was done on this about a month ago) His opinion not withstanding, Obama's brother was not a large part of his life for many years according to the original blog entry. So how much does he truely "know" of Obama? Keep that in mind...it is a huge point to consider when you think about the original blo

Foe, I have a lot of respect for you, but in this case I still believe Obama is in fact a Muslim! Claiming to be a Christian and being a Christian are two completely different things. Maybe I'll just put it a different way. "I don't trust Obama"! He reminds me too much of these sleezy used car salesmen.

You told me one time you usually judged people as soon as you meet them. I do the same thing and my gut tells me he's no good and especially not good for our Country!

I am just your normal kilt wearing Texans fan. Texan born and proud of it. I have varied opinions about many issues, as you might have already read. I do like a great discussion, some would call arguements...you say tomatoe, I say tomato. Be happy while you're living, for you're a long time dead.
