IS IT JUST ME OR IS IDOL RIDICULOUS?

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THE NEW SEASON OF IDOL IS ALL ABOUT THE JUDGES.  I KNOW IN THE PAST THERE HAS BEEN TIFS AND TATS BETWEEN THEM AND THEY HAVE HAD THEIR ISSUES BUT THERE WAS ALWAY STALENT TO OVER SHADOW THEM.  NOW I FEEL THERE IS NO TALENT IN THIS GROUP, NO ONE THAT SPARKLES AND STANDS OUT. 

 

AND AFTER LAST NIGHTS LIL SPAT BETWEEN SIMON AND RYAN...I MEAN COME ON.  THE SEXUAL INNUENDOS THE TWO WERE THROWING BACK AND FORTH WERE A BIT MUCH.  NOT THAT I AM A HOUND ON "WHAT IS RIGHT ON TV" BUT IT STILL SEEMS A BIT SILL Y TO DO THIS ON LIVE TV ON A SHOW THAT IS ABOUT THE CONTESTANTS AND NOT THE JUDGES.

I AM A SIMON FAN AND LIKE TO HEAR HIS TRUE COMMENTS AS COMPARED TO PAULA'S HAZZY, SLURRED IDEAS ON THEM AND RANDY'S "DOG" COMMENTS.

 

JUST A THOUGHT!

I agree that there seems to be LESS talent this year, but there IS talent....Lakeisha Jones, Melinda Doolittle, and Jordin Sparks are all EXTREMELY talented singers who will all go far after this show. The show has become more of a platform for talented singers to display their abilities, than a show about one winner taking the whole shebang. Just an observation, but Paula hasn't been wasted once, so far, or if she has, it hasn't been as apparent. What's that all about???

No, you are correct. Idol is rediculous.

I wanna see some people with talent actually have to fight to get signed, not just go down and get in a line.

Sure, they can sing.

I saw a guy who was an awesome guitar player get booed off a show called '15 seconds of fame' while the guys on flaming pogo sticks advanced to the next round.

People, as a whole, are stupid to buy into this crap.

It all about the "15 min" they can get. No one seems concered about if these people can really sing any more its just if you look good doing it! which is crap!

I'm getting annoyed and irritated at Paula's behavior. She interrupts Simon at every comment. Makes snide remarks and to top it off. She thinks everything in the universe is NICE NICEY (someone please pass me a bucket). Really wish the Producers of A.I. would look into a rotational judge seat with guess who's seat: Paula's being on the rotational judge.

Think Seacrest and Simon are so bored at this point, they are reduced to onset trivia bickering. LOL Maybe they are still delirious from Paula's happy happy comments.

The only thing worth watching on that show are the auditions. After that, it's back to watching whatever is on HBO or listening to music.

I am just your normal kilt wearing Texans fan. Texan born and proud of it. I have varied opinions about many issues, as you might have already read. I do like a great discussion, some would call arguements...you say tomatoe, I say tomato. Be happy while you're living, for you're a long time dead.
