Thoughts of HoMan

I just wanted to write a lil something about Richard Jeni.  He was one of the most innovative comedians of our time.  One of the only guys/gals that could really produce new material in from of your eyes and make you split at the seams doing it.  I know he will be greatly missed in my household and many others.

The facts behind his death are strange and do not really seem like something he would do but who really knows besides him.  As it seems with most funny people, they are troubled and keep all this to themselves so no one knows the true them.....

R.I.P. Richard Jeni....

The routines of his I remember most are the one about not smoking in a friends house and how they made him smoke outside. He said "They act as if you're relieving yourself on the children so they send you outside and it's you and some dog. And the dog is like 'would you mind not smoking? I have a very sensitive snout.'"

Then there was the other one where he told how no matter how bad he thought it was his dad would have a story about how he had it. "Dad I gotta go to work. 'Work? you don't know what work is. When I was your age I worked in a coal mine.'

You were a miner?

'No. I was a SHOVEL! I had to dig coal with my face.'

Dad if it was so bad why didn't you just leave?

'Cause we had no arms and legs!"

RIP Playtypus man. You'll be missed baby.

I am just your normal kilt wearing Texans fan. Texan born and proud of it. I have varied opinions about many issues, as you might have already read. I do like a great discussion, some would call arguements...you say tomatoe, I say tomato. Be happy while you're living, for you're a long time dead.
