Hello Everyone:

I’m sorry I’ve been mia for the last few weeks but things have been moving very fast. Currently, I’m training and staying in top shape in preparation of training camp. I’ve packed on several more pounds of muscle and I’m currently up to 185 lbs. and I feel as strong and “Quick” as ever!

I’ve had several individual workouts with several NFL teams and they all appear to be interested in me. Honestly, the whole draft process has been a blessing from God. I’ve met a lot of interesting people from folks that are already in the NFL and people like D-Mac from Arkansas to Jason Rivers from Hawaii, to name a few.

I’ve been staying busy and I feel very comfortable making the transition from being a student-athlete to a professional athlete. This is a great honor and responsibility and I’m proud to represent the University of Houston, the state of Texas, and my wonderful family.

I’m really trying to enjoy the process up until the 26th (draft time). That’s all that’s going on with me. I’m glad that you people want to know what I’m doing and I hope that I don’t let any of you down. Nothing is guaranteed but I promise you that where ever I go, I will work really hard and do my very best to make ya’ll proud.

What teams do you think I would be a good fit? Where would you like me to play?

Quick 6

You deserve the best Quick. How about a reunion with Kolb and joining the Eagles?
The Lions and Falcons might snatch you up.
But I'm thinking third round pick of the Houston Texans!!!

Good Luck.

I hope you get to stay in Houston. I have enjoyed watching you. It would be a real treat to have a "homegrown" player on the Texans. I know you are busy, but watch for Cathy Hernandez during the Texan Cheerleader finals. She has been a Cougar Doll with my daughter, Taucha Hogue, for the last couple of years. She has made it to the finals. Last year she was one of the 3 that fans got to vote on, fortunately for the Coogs, she didn't make it and continued to cheer and dance for you guys this year. I hope you have a long and healthy career. Good luck to you!

You know, that's one thing you'll NEVER see on a woman's blog..."I've packed on a few more pounds"...we would deny that to the bitter end! LOL Anyway, good luck to you!

Good luck in the draft today. I'm sure a lot of folks will say you're too small to play in the NFL, but keep your head down and prove them wrong in the future - like you've done in the past.

Have fun and wherever you end up we'll be rooting for you.

Hey Quick,

I'd love to see you with the Texans or the Eagles. I think McNabb's days are numbered and Kolb could use a guy around that he is familiar with. Don't sweat the draft. You were by far the most underrated player in the country and there will be a lot of teams kicking themselves on Sundays when you are dropping 200+ yards on them. Maybe you could go to the Rams and you and 2-Deep could be the first ever 300-200 duo in college and the NFL. Size doesn't matter at all, 2-Deep isn't a tall guy either. I think the dream scenario would be for the Eagles to pick up V-Marshall and you. I believe I'd have to move to Philly. Thanks for bringing pride back to UH football and always being a class act on and off the field.

Quick 6 - YEA BUDDY!!! Let me be among the first to welcome you to the Denver Broncos.

I am a SuperFan, as many in Denver are. We are so excited to have you part of the team, and extend a kinship to our brothers in Houston and the Cougar family.

We have several opportunities at WR, and could really use a "burner" to help stretch the field. Also, the AFC West competitors have over-sized, slow corners.....and I can't wait to watch you expose them!

Best of luck in 2008 Anthony, I'm working on getting the "Aldrige Army's" Colorado Batallion gathered :)
