US army apologises after shooting holy book 14 times

THE US military has been forced to apologise after one of its soldiers in Iraq used a copy of the Koran for target practice.

The Muslim holy book was found peppered with 14 bullet holes and with offensive scrawls inside at a shooting range near Baghdad.

The military yesterday confirmed that a soldier had been disciplined and withdrawn from duty after Iraqi police found the Koran at the firing range on May 11.

Commanders were met by hundreds of protesting Sunni tribesmen when they went to deliver an apology to local leaders west of Baghdad.

Maj-Gen Jeffery Hammond told the crowd: "I am a man of honour, I am a man of character. You have my word this will never happen again."

Note to self...after reading my FREE copy of the Q'ran, I will..
1. Give it to the dog as a chew toy.
2. Rip some pages to use as tissues, napkins, paper towels, esp on the nights we have pork chops.
3. Shred some more pages and mix it in with the slop we use for the FFA barn pigs.
4. My final act was going to be rip the remainder of the book up and flush it down the toilet, but I think we'll use it for target practice first. Great idea, thanks AmericanMuslima!!
THEN I'll rip the remainder up and flush it down the potty.

Well, there goes my weekend plans!!

I find this fascinating. Some American soldiers shoot a Koran, causing outrage among Muslims. A Danish cartoonist draws a picture of Mohammed, and there are riots and death threats. Muslim suicide bombers blow up fellow Muslinms in the name of Islam almost daily, and you hear nothing. Why? For the record I am NOT anti Muslim, I just feel that something is profoundly out of whack. I don't undertsnad the thinking behind this.

Donnely, you hit the nail on the head. They are not thinking! The book they so dearly believe is holy teaches hate toward all non-Muslim people! I know Christians have committed loads of horrible things against Muslims over the years. But those things we as Americans have no control over. Only the ones committing the crimes have that control. I know this yahyamoro character will chime in with some stupid remark about how the Qur'an was written by God's prophets but he has been lied to about the author! The Qur'an was written after the Bible and was written in almost the exact same words. Somewhere after the original writing this Allah character was instilled in the Holy Book as God and he wanted to rule over the world by making all people Muslim. The only way that could be done is killing innocent people no matter what faith! If the Qur'an is for peace then why does it specify to kill all non-Muslim people? Infidel's in other words! The people of the Middle East have been killing each other for hundred's of years and now they are after America!

As I've told you before, you need to do more reading to learn the truth. Your Allah was no more than a dictator wanting to rule the world. You can argue till hell freezes over and it still won't change the truth! He is not living in peace with God either, he is in hell with Satan!
