Wigginton was examined by Dr. Tom Mehlhoff, who confirmed the original diagnosis of a fractured left thumb. Mehlhoff will examine Wigginton again on Tuesday, and if all goes well, Wigginton could test the thumb by taking practice swings and playing catch on Thursday's off-day. If he struggles, the club will likely place him on the DL.

I'm a 30 something year old FEMALE. I love living life to it's fullest. My hobbies are many however here are a few of my FAVES! BASEBALL! (OF COURSE) Photography, casinos (I KNOW! BAD BAD BAD :)) taking roadtrips and spending as much time as possible with the little ones in my life (nieces and nephews). I like to shop, but, then again what female doesn't?!
