Did anyone else see the Space Shuttle just fly over Houston?  I was watching the news this evening when the weather man mentioned that the Space Shuttle would be flying over Houston from Northwest to Southeast from 7:07pm - 7:12pm tonight.  He said the skies would be so clear to see it with the naked eye.

He sure was right.  I went outside looked Northwest and there it came.  It was like the light of a star just moving fast but you couldn't hear a sound.  You could just see one light moving so so clearly, so smooth.  It was amazing to see.

Did anyone else see the Space Shuttle tonight?

I wrote it down so I wouldn't forget and then I forgot. Hopefully some wonderful person took a video recording of it and will post it for us. I did see the space shuttle as it was taking off in Florida when I lived in Seminole/Pinellas Park area. That was in the fall of 1981. It was very, very cool.

I didn't see it this time, but I have seen it before a few years ago. If it wasn't the space shuttle or space station, then it was some other big object in orbit over Houston. Just a little solid light about the size of a star slowly gliding across the sky... way cool.
