Do First Lady's Out Live Their Husbands?

This morning I was thinking about the passing of our First Lady Claudia (Lady Bird) Johnson.   May God rest her soul.  In my life time I have been trying to go back in my memory of any First Lady passing away before their husbands in the passed 50 or so years.  I can not think of one.  I also have noticed how First Lady's and their families often chose private services, unlike their husbands having highly public funerals.  This is quite interesting also. 

Please share your thoughts on this with me.  If I am wrong in remembering what has happened in my life time concerning this, please let me know.

Pat Nixon died a year before her husband, former president Richard Nixon, who died on April 22, 1994. Pat died on June 22, 1993.

Richard died of a stroke. He enjoyed eating some food that doctors wanted him to avoid.

A heavy smoker, Pat died of lung cancer.

Both probably would have lived another ten years if they had watched their health.

Richard was a master at foreign policy. Too bad he was dumb as a rock when it came to Watergate.
