I’m never excited about a Monday morning commute but I can’t believe how easy the drive into work was this morning. I’m a Gulf Freeway commuter and things went so well. There were a lot of us on the road, but things kept moving and everyone played nice.
I had to double-check that it was not Sunday or something.
I've been enjoying a 2:30am commute this week as I've worked the morning show. Here's what I've seen...
Slow drivers in the fast lane.
Distracted cell phone drivers.
Cars with non-working blinkers, or at least not being used.
I will say overall there are less cars on the road but the quality of driving seems to be the same as during the daylight hours.
Do you think it's any safer on the roads at night?
Here’s what I found in my tire yesterday. Not the penny, it’s just there for
reference. Needless to say, the tire was
not much good. It was time anyway, so I
ended up replacing all four tires. I
HATE BUYING TIRES.
Most of the time I buy the cheap stuff, but tires are too
important to not buy quality. If I’m
going to spend that much money on anything, I want to get some enjoyment or
some kind of satisfaction.
