I used to live one block from there. Yes, the weather is beautiful, but let me tell you one thing about living one block from the beach-no place to park in the summer. Sometimes, I had to park two blocks from my apartment.

California-WONDERFUL place to visit, don't want to live there (high taxes, too crowded, too much regulation etc.)

Houston-crappy place to visit, WONDERFUL place to live. No state income taxes, little regulation, wonderful people.
