So I don't always do a great job keeping up with off season stuff for professional sports, so this my be old news.  But what is up with Brett Favre?

He wants to play again?
But not for Green Bay?

The man played for years for the Pack, retired--now He wants to play for someone else.
I think He deserves to do what he wants.
GB will demend compensation most probably, but not sure that is right.
Clemens & Pettite retired from baseball, played for someone else, went back--retired again--?
Geez, why alienate your most revered player & a hero in your organization?

He retired, they moved on and focused on Aaron Rodgers for a few months. When he started to change his mind they asked him, are you 100% sure? He said, well I'm like 90% sure, so they said sorry we can't play this game and moved on. Now there is bitterness between the two sides.

Personally, I would LOVE to see him head to Miami for a year or two. The key for the Packers is that they don't want to let him play for any team in their division (like the Bears, Vikings, Lions) or anywhere else in the NFC. I think Miami would be a perfect fit. C'mon Brett, enough with the cold weather! Come to the 'fins.

Hey JD,
Don't you do weather? Now you're talking about sports topics like Bret? I'm so confused...but I'll say this I'd love to see him in uniform and it would be fun to see Bret smack it to Green Bay.

He is ruining himself...it is painful to watch him circle the drain like he is. But if he wants to come back and spoil what he has accomplished in his career...so be it. If GB does not want him theyt should let him go. But, if Bret shows at training camp like he said he might, he will lose the respect of his former teammates.

It's no surprise he's considering coming out of retirement. It can be REALLY difficult for athletes to retire, even when they think that's what they want at the time. But this is something they've done since childhood, played sports, and when they're no longer doing it they miss is something awful.
